Well Hello There!
Heart to Heart – designs by suzi
(a little bit about me)
Entering my 65 year on this beautiful planet earth,
I find myself in the midst of change.
I'm sure we all face changes at all ages in our lives.
Everyday I am learning something new about myself and relearning the pieces of me that have been
buried for so many years.
So with 2018 underway, my wish for all of you is to;
Always pray to have the eyes that see the best in people,
a heart that forgives the worst,
a mind that forgets the bad
and a soul that never loses faith in God.
I'm also learning to accept and apply
The Four Agreements - by Don Miguel Ruiz
Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean.
Avoid using the word to speak against
yourself or to gossip about others.
Use the power of your word in the direction of Truth & Love.
Don't Take Anything Personal
Nothing others do is because of you.
What others say and do is a projection of their own dream.
When you are immune to the opinions and
actions of others, you won't be the victim.
Don't Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and
to express what you really want.
Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.
With just this one agreement,
you can completely transform your life.
Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment, it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.
Under any circumstance, simply do your best
and you will avoid self judgement, self-abuse and regret.
I am a bit sassy, compassionate, silly,
energizer bunny like and crazy in love with my
kiddos and grand kiddos!!
daughter Jen showed me how to make a
unique folding album.
And then my daughter Maggie took the
Sequim and sold them for about
6 months in a little country store.
She then invited me to participate in
an event with her art group.
meant I was going to be selling
things I made in person - scary!!
But what a great experience, I sold out of
In Sequim, I met the manager of
The Fremont Sunday Market in Seattle.
He encouraged me to give the Market a
that's when things really took off!!
hobby became a business, I was and am still having FUN!!
It began with my hand painted & designed paper.
I use the paper on my cards & my
unique folding origami albums.
My designs have also been transferred to fabric!!
My Nirvana would be to walk into
a fabric store
and see my own line of fabric on bolts, all lined
waiting for someone’s special project!!
(this is the condensed version of my story)
The unique folding albums I make can be used as a
group birthday, get well, baby or wedding card.
Many people have used the album
as a wedding guest book!
Endless potential for these folding albums!
So many fun ideas or just give an empty
album as a gift and let someone else
explore the possibilities!!
